Greetings!  I hope you had a great Labor Day off!

Brit Lit: Old English Test will be Tuesday, 17 Sept.  Literary terms, Anglo-Saxon society characteristics, Anglo-Saxon poetry characteristics, poem plots, and Christian imagery in Beowulf will comprise the test.  Students will be asked to analyze a short passage for literary devices (from the terms we studied) and Anglo-Saxon characteristics.  We will review the day before.

This week we will look at some historical texts and then, on to Beowulf!

Latin – we will keep moving forward!  We’ve got tests this week for Latins I, II, and III.  Latin IV will finish up a bit of Ovid and then read some passages from our textbook.
